"It wasn't our fault!" She screamed in his face. "Darkwing didn't show up! Your plan failed!" The Fearsome Four looked on in awe as Tegwen's rage glowed ominously in her eyes. "So don't blame us for your shortcomings!"

Megavolt finally stepped up to the two of them after Negaduck's face began turning blue. He pried her off of their leader as Bushroot and Quackerjack attempted to get the chainsaw from his hands.

"Come on guys," Bushroot whined. "Stop fighting."

"Yeah," Mr. Bananabrain spoke up. "We'll never catch Dripwing this way, Faye!"

Negaduck snorted in Quackerjack's face. "You keep this dame offa me and maybe I won't chainsaw her bill off, you pathetic Joker wannabe!"

Tegwen drew in a deep breath, trying to calm herself. "Believe me, anything you can dish out, I can match tenfold, so watch it, putz!"

"I'll --" Negaduck lunged for her, but she moved out of his way swiftly and he landed on the floor beside her. She quickly pressed her foot against the small of his back.

"I told you, don't bother." She sneered as he looked up at her ferociously.

"You know, if I didn't abhor you so much, maybe I'd like you," he growled.

Slowly, Tegwen lifted her foot and turned her back to him. "Well, trust me, the feeling is more than mutual," she spat.

The Fearsome Four muttered amongst themselves, watching Tegwen as she stood defiantly with her back turned to Negaduck.

"I've never seen anyone so stupid," Bushroot whispered.

"She's one hundred percent certifiably insane," Liquidator added.

"She needs a straight jacket more than any of us," Quackerjack said with an insane giggle.

Megavolt nodded, keeping his opinion carefully guarded. She's brave . . . None of us would ever face Negaduck the way she does!

"You ain't worth my time," Negaduck decided, turning to his seat.

Slowly, everyone turned his attention back to Negaduck. Once they were all focused on something else, Tegwen breathed a long, quiet sigh of relief. I have got to stop cheating death like that, she decided. Or else I may just get my wish one of these days in a way I don't approve of. She didn't suppose death by chainsaw would be especially pleasant.
